so, just so I'm understanding, it's now the 24th, and not the 23rd, like the commercial I saw during game 1 of the WCF?

In all honesty its been this way since 2007. They've never missed a beat. I'd bet good money, right now, that you will see the same world premiere for the next COD happen right around the same time next year.

Of course I am interested to see it but it will probably be "footage" from the game. If it's not actual game play from the SP/MP, I don't really give a crap. I can watch a movie if I want to see scripted scenes.

Game 4 is scheduled for Monday, May 23rd at 9pm EST

I would have to think that anyone that buys this shovelware over Battlefield 3 is certifiably insane!

I know your love for BF is unmeasurable but we all like different type of games. BF3 looks good but if the MP game is similar to BF2 then count me out. As for MW franchise, I am always going to buy and try because the past MW games gave me and still gives me many hours of entertainment. Just as BLOPS does for many excluding myself.

i love both... no reason to pretend like you can only have one.

From the poster is it safe to guess that they will give us AFG as one of the attachments on top of VFG? lol!

Black Ops is the best selling videogame of all time. Seems like the series is stronger than ever. And Im sure MW3 will break the records of Black Ops. Sales are the only cold hard fact we can use to determine if a game or series is in a "decline".

Trailer looks awesome. Looks like they're definitely taking the campaign to next level.

Still, I hope they roll back a bit on the insanity in the MP. Black Ops should have taught them a good lesson about that. They need to rethink the entire killstreak mechanic. I suspect the new IW is quite a bit humbled.

Now obviously this is still generally going to be the same CoD we know and love, and I'm fine with that. I don't want them to change it too much. When I want to play battlefield, I'll play battlefield.

I suspect if there's any franchise that will go astray, it's BF3. They've got a good and very unique thing with their current style of play. BC2 is great. BF3, like MoH before it, is looking a little too Cod-ified for my tastes. We all saw how bland MoH ended up, and I fear the same for BF3. The trailers don't comfort me.

certainly looks like they went for the sizzle... We'll see if this is another MW2 which was movie actions scenes spliced together.

it looks like the B3 trailer, just with more cutscenes and a different color palette.

Anyone playing tonight? Thought the MW3 trailer would get some of you to jump on, lol. Would have loved to play with PJ Rage and Daekwan the other night. Have yet to play with them since they moved over to BLOPS. Too bad.

I really feel for those of you who haven't played any of the SP campaigns. I know the MP is worth the price of admission, but take a few hours and give them a go why don't ya? ;-)
