I have been playing KC for a little bit and twice I got server time out in the middle of a game. wtf?!

It's really laggy tonight.

I am trying to play right now...for the first time, the speed was horrible. I always (since Thanksgiving as I am a noob) joined at <50ms for pings. Tonight, was > 125ms Pings! My screen was jumping all over the place as if I were teleporting. It sucked.

I am rebooting everything and going to see if that helps.

Steve, thanks for the invite...it was fun listening to you tell everyone about our first encounter last night...Yes, I do need a mic. But it was fun just listening too.

Im loving the game right now. Playing team tactical, and we're on a tear, for the last 3-4 hours. my group is completely dominating, and there doesn't feel to be any lag anymore. i applaud Infinity Ward, and Co. for this patch.

Interesting. It's gotten worse for me.

Worked great for me tonight. Didn't notice lag and didn't have a single host migration that I can remember.

Moments ago, X-Play handed out its "Best Multiplayer Game" award for 2011 to Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. During the acceptance speech, Infinity Ward's creative strategist, Robert Bowling, revealed that player-created game modes will soon be added to MW3's multiplayer.

"Since we have such advanced private match options, we've been noticing a lot of user-created game modes, that in the coming weeks, we're going to be adding to the public playlists in multiplayer," Bowling said. "We're going to be adding some in for the holiday, brand new modes that the users created, that we adapted, made more polished, and are putting into the game," he added.

Last night was easily the most fun I've had with this game.

- No major lag issues
- We didn't come close to losing a match (HC-Dom)
- Absolutely throttled the #9 ranked player in the world along with his buddies (I believe one of you was going to post screenshot/video)
- I joined the 40/40 club (44-40) in one match - Is that even possible!?!?!?
- We had the perfect blend of stuff being used throughout the group (tac inserts, Recon Drones, Adv. UAV, EMP, etc)
- And everyone on the team getting "Steelhoused" - AKA, being team-killed by the Mr./Mrs. (with the Mrs. especially having it out for a certain someone she killed 4 times in one game)

#9 in the world was defeated last night in HC domination

My modded Sony HMZ T1. I removed the headphones so I could fit my Senn PC360's and grabbed a hat from work (left over from some indy race sponsorship - thus the checkers). Made one cut where the bill joins the hat, then slid the forehead pad connector through and attached a forehead pad with the pad removed and voila. I don't even use the back straps at all. Fits very well and very comfortable now.

For gaming, it is very nice. The picture is incredibly sharp and feels at least as big as the 110" screen I usually game on from 10'-11' away. The only downside I have with it is that if I move my head while playing, the whole screen moves which is a bit disorienting and has caused me to lose focus and lose a battle. I never realized before how much I moved when playing. Especially when something sudden happens and I jump. Also, if not positioned right, one side or the other can be slightly blurred for one eye. I find I'm very picky about this and always make sure it is in perfect focus across the screen.

Compared to my current gaming rig which consists of a Sharp 12k mkII and a 110" high power screen, it is brighter, sharper and has a much higher contrast ratio. I need to find a good 3D game to try out on it. Might have to buy uncharted on PS3. For movies, I prefer my RS35 though on the 130" wide AT screen.

Was not one person but many that secured the victory...
We have like a double digit win streak tho. I must have had 8 + Final kill
cams last night as well. If i get the chance I'm going to go back through
the footage of the games with him and see how hes getting so many kills.
He was REALLY good tho very good gun skills. hard to beat 1 on 1.

In all fairness, except for a couple of twitchy kills which I think everybody did, the only reason I teamkilled anyone is because I kept forgetting that looking through a fence or car window or the slats on the forklift, the gamer tag does not come up, similar to the pro level perk.

At least I did not constantly drop stealth bombers and as an after thought a small. "look out".

But I do like the naming system.

team killed via martyrdom, should be somehow attributed to Todd who killed me and BB several times. The funniest was when he got killed dropped his matyrdom grenade, respawned and his grenade killed me and him again!!!

#9 was incredible at 1 on 1 kills. Anytime I was able to get him was a happy happy joy joy moment.

Need a better headset than the standard Xbox ones I've been using. I'm waiting for the Warheads to come out, so I don't want to spend too much when I'll be dropping $250 in 3 months.

Which ones are better?

Have the x12's and the x41's the 12's are worthless without the DSS decoder for 50$ more. I do not even play with them on because they are wortheless IMO compared to a DSS headset. Everything is amplified but you cannot tell where anything is coming from. The X41's are great IMO but stay away from the X12's

I bought the powered TB set for my son who destroys all manner of headsets and the 50 dollar pair have held up very well.

Just looked and its the X12.

Well if dubs think they are worthless than go with his view. I just need a solid stereo left right set up and do fine with that.

I got a refurb set for him from TB. they were 29 bucks at the time instead of the 50 or so.

I have played HC exactly twice. Both times I was knifed and targetted by the same douche... GT Ill Team Kill... So I will only play it in a party from now on.
