Akimbo FMG9 isn't patched as far as I can tell. Striker isn't patched either. So, I decided to go ahead with the mantra, "If you can't beat'em, join'em"

Now I have setup a class with striker and another class with FMG9 as secondary so I can unlock akimbo for it and range for Striker.

God knows, maybe I will even pick up a sniper rifle and start practicing QS'ing.

They didn't nerf the Striker-- but they DID fix the extended mag glitch! (Much to my horror as it was the only thing keeping the other shotguns competitive!)

Honestly, I really don't think the striker is OP (of course, I also don't think the type 95 is OP after the patch). In fact, if anything I'd like to see the other shotguns receive a boost! Akimbo machine pistols, on the other hand, are dumb and should just be removed from the game. It's bad enough that you get an automatic as a secondary let alone dual-wield which essentially negates the purpose of shotguns in this game as shotguns (other than striker) are so awful...

Don't feel too bad. I always feel as though I'm a half second behind my opponents when playing this game and I've got a pretty rock solid connection that 99% of the time produces the following results:

Some highlights from the past couple nights of shop wrecking and 'a' game bringing with the AVS crew...

Only lost 3 games in almost 9 hours of playtime.

Two gun only triple kill sequences...

Man if that had been dz you probably would've raked in the kills. It's pretty rare I get matches in kc where everybody congregates in one area because everybody is afraid to get picked off by a camper guarding a dogtag.

Sucks that we didn't lose a single game the entire night until the very last one I played (S&D on interchange)

Yeah I know...was my last game too. I was getting really tired by that point. It had to be around 3:30am or so. Definitely was another great night of gaming. I'm really starting to feel like I'm getting the team thing down - coming from being a predominantly FFA player in the past. We've got the teamwork and communication down pretty well...tonight anyone?

It was a mixed bag last night. Some decent matches and some serious wtf matches where I was loosing every head to head fight even she I shot first enter mass. Dropped me in about 3 rounds but I could unload half a mag and no dice.

If I never play S&D or HQ again I'm good. We did gave somefun matches though, that one on Lockdown was great, love that map.

Yep. Good games. I thought I had it after planting the bomb, but got disoriented when everyone was yelling "he's on your right, look left, behind you", lol. Don't know how he got the kill through the concrete part of the alley at A. I was pissed for a minute.

I'll be on today/tonight. The last couple of days have been amazing. Only a few losses in 8+ hours of play. Lets keep the AVS smackdown going.

P.S. Glad to see that you're enjoying team games and MW3 in general. Thought you had given up. The AVS crew has definitely made it more enjoyable.

Yeah we gotta get our callouts down so we're all on the same page...all the good teams will get together and go into private matches/spectate mode and all name sh*t. We should maybe take a little time and do that?

For those looking for a different class Ive been.doing better with the ACR silenced with Kick. Perks are extreme condition" assassion and dead silence. I suck compared to most, but this setup has improved my game slightly. I am a lone wolf type as I can't get in multi hour gaming like many here, but still have a blast playing win or lose. What really sucks is I just had a game of Dom where it seemed I and 1 other player were the only ones trying to capture the points. If I'm ending near the top or at the top of my teams leaderboard then I know something's up LOL.

I go pretty high on the rage meter when I'm playing w/ people I don't know and I see 4 snipers spawn for Domination and 3 of them plant on the first flag we take.

Hi p3Orion and AVS team, when playing is this against others online (team or indivduals) or against another AVS team?

The funny thing is it was all run and gun types just looking for kills. Its one thing to defend a flag in a close game, but to not even try to capture is something totally different. I saw a number of people just run right past the flags without even attempting to do anything.

I will be on later but I'll have a gap at 9pm EST for the Dexter finalé.

I still have to get a mic, but when a team is hooked up do only you and your teammates communicate over the mic and not hearing what the other team is saying (unless they are in earshot)???

I do have, wrapped, the 25.00 Microsoft Mic set and keypad....is this doable? I got the chat pad simply for navigating items like Youtube, etc..., not much for chatting/typing.

Hi OmfgItzThaMack, thanks that sound like fun. I stopped playing for awhile with all the lag (Xbox and PS3) and sold the Xbox game to a friend (for his son as a birthday gift). Maybe I might receive MW3 as a Christmas gift and join up with yall .

You never hear what the other team is saying. You only hear your team/party. At least in my experience.

God man you're the second person from here that I heard sold their copy of MW3...that's crazy I don't know what would make anyone decide to do something like that *cough, cough - Raven Crimson*. Yeah man we have fun for sure. I'd even go as far as saying...and some of the other guys might want to chime in here a bit; but it seems like we are finally getting a solid, actual team together. Everyone brings their a game and to answer the previous posters question (I can't multi-quote from my phone), yes we communicate quite well. Having a mic is a must.
