I agree that there are certainly times more frustrating than others. Solutions ranked in order of my preference:

Stop playing Ground War even at the expense of breaking up the party

Get a private match going - solid fun the times we did this

Play a different game

Stop playing and spend time w/ the wife...J/K...shes asleep anyway, I will go watch sportscenter 3 times in a row.

The funny thing is ground war has been better than domination and killed confirmed for days now on my end

This is bad but I haven't played in over a month until today. Liked the new maps and could definitely tell the akimbo's had been nerfed somewhat. Really only tried the akimbo G18's and they still felt pretty good. It almost seemed like my trust PP90 with rapid fire had been nerfed a bit too but that could just be me being rusty.

I didn't notice any worse lag or spawn points but I tend to play solo or with people I have a good connection with. I've never been a big fan of playing with big AVS groups because the lag is always bad for someone in the group. It's just the laws of physics and network routing that make it impossible for everyone to have no lag. It's been that way since the beginning and I don't expect any changes.

No lag noticed or spawn changes during this entire prestige during drop zone or domination. IW definitely improved the multiplayer in MW3 over MW2 threefold.

Miss playing with you guys...just moved to AZ and things have been hectic. I got 3 invites in the 5 minutes I was on last night but I was pretty much just testing the wireless capabilities of the new setup I have to deal with and it wasnt pretty.

I welcome you to the state where 7 months of the year it's perfect, and the other 5 are as hot as hell!

I mean this sucks I got 2 hours of Double XP for the Elite sign up thing and that's it. No other double XP for me since I started this silliness - prestiging the hard way, LOL.

Yes they are. Ever had Penn Station? Subs are not quite as good as firehouse but the fries make up for it.

Haha, sorry I usually only check the forums at work, and I've been off since Thursday. I actually have Road Runner (Time Warner), which is just about as crappy as dial up. I've had people tell me I seem to move real fast, but I have no idea what it is. And here I thought maybe I just had a smidgen of skill.

I picked up a mac mini today so I will be up playing mw2 tonight while getting the mini ready for home theater =]

Doritos and Mountain Dew XP were the biggest double XP source since the game came out. I snagged up about 22 hours worth. Don't forget every time you prestige, you get a coin that you can use to buy 2 hours of double xp. I'm nearly done with my 8th prestige and have 3 coins I haven't used. If there isn't something worth getting by my 9th prestige, I plan on using all of them to finish my 10th prestige.

Sorry dude, I was on for a little bit and didn't see anyone on so I started playing Batman:AC....so, I probably wont be on MW2 much but if you are on and want to get do some MW2 then shoot me a txt because I turned off my notification.

Those games were fun, your team played very well together. It was fun trying to break through because you guys had your **** together and had everything covered.

I downloaded it before I left for work so have not played it yet but there are a few vids up on the tube already. Looks like a SMG/AR map to me with more bad spawns, probably a bit too long for shotgun (IMO). I'll be on tonight if anyone wants to hook up for some dom/KC.

How long did they wait before dropping map packs in MW2? I wish they would go ahead and drop the legacy maps.

Overwatch. Again, too many corners and places for campers to sit and wait for someone (like me) to run by and blast with ease. Maybe when it gets added to the regular rotation I'll get used to it, but right now it's staying on the Elite list and be ignored by me like the first two maps.
