Any word on what type of map this is? Small, med, large, snipe, CQB, etc.?

I think it is a smedge map.

Highlight of the night last night...

Taking down the mighty CHALUPATRON with a group of greenies! Following said match, group goes mysteriously "offline"

I personally liked the 51-30 against you all @ Mission (up until your triple cap I thought we might of had a chance)

The lag advantage your team had (over me at least, no one else was complaining about it) was ridonkulous. That, plus the spawns, and it didn't take long for me to remember why I stopped playing this game.

Yeah, I see you're on BF3 most of the time. That SeaTown game against you guys was brutal. You all had B locked down air-tight!

Yeah it was, we needed that win after the first one against you! You guys had an equal domination of B on Village, it was pretty good.

Question: Is there any sort of actual clan made in game for AVS players? Just wondering - I don't know the details, but can't you do certain things as a clan, like get XP bonuses and whatnot? Didn't know if it was worth having just for the sake of it for Elite members, or if it's more trouble than it's worth.

Also, MW3 is not like riding a bike. A week off made me feel like my aim is as bad as Conman's. And yes, I was able to play last night AND retain my manhood TYVM. That's how I roll.

Gutter, if you have COD Elite go to that map and look at the kill zones. B is ridiculous! Looks like a damn Texas wildfire blazing around that flag. I can't tell you how many double kills I got that game with you all trying to capture/hold that flag. Was surprised none of you were using the "Steel-Wigwam System" (aka - Trophy System). Those things are money on that level at B.

Dear Lord. Played HCKC last night and it was magical. Kept doing the Conman perimeter circle and was just cleaning up. Actually raised my horrible KDR. Worst game was a lag induced nightmare but still went positive.

Couple of the guys I was on the team with were using riot shields which was laughter inducing.

All in all a good time

And Mystaphyer, I would love to rock the AVS clan title. See what we could do.

I'm down to join a clan, especially for some extra xp goodness. I missed out on the whole doritoes/mountain dew double xp gains.

That said, I don't know a thing about how clans work in this game or if there are any gamebattles type tournaments built-in like we used for Socom.

Also, thanks to those last night who endured Ground War so I could join the party.....it was brutal, I know

I'll check it out. I started using the trophy last prestige, but I haven't unlocked it yet on this one, at least I don't think I have.

I love the trophy system, but in the past week there have been 3-4 different times where I've had it down and a predator missile still killed me? Anybody else notice this? I was not around a car or anything either, just out in the open.

I know a couple people commented yesterday that the Predator missile seemed more powerful.

I've had the same problem so far. It worked on flashbangs and concussion grenades, but I must be doing something wrong when the preds come in, because they've killed me every time.

Just created one (AVSFORUM). Sent out a bunch of invites (you Chalup peeps can probably just ignore, as I'm not sure if you can be in multiple clans).

I think if the predator hits something above you, far enough that the trophy doesn't go off and close enough to kill you. I have had that issue and watched the kill cam a couple of times to see just WTF happened. At least that has been what I have viewed. It also has me aiming for things and has helped get kills and not waste a predator

I'm convinced they nerfed the effective range of the TS. I've watched too many kill cams that leave no other explanation. It was around the time the first elite maps dropped IIRC.

I aged last night and after a few matches I wanted to break the game in half. I swear I'd be happier sticking to watching movies and not messing with these broken games. I put in Reach for a bit which was fine and then went old school and played some Burnout 3 Takedown which ended up being much more fun.

It's money - took me a long time to get used to not having a tactical grenade, but now Conman follows me around like a kid and an ice cream truck. Except this ice cream truck serves chocolate covered, mushroom tipped cones apparently.

But it's the least I can do since he lends me use of his portable radar on most maps. So basically, we're both pitching.

Good games sir You ended up playing with some really good greenies on a couple of those maps. Mission can be a real pain in the ass if you get the A spawn against a good team. All the times i've played dom on that map and I can count on one hand with fingers to spare how many times I've gotten the C spawn. It's really weird.

Yeah, there were 3 of us in the 30+ kill range on that Village map. The other 3 were useless, and I believe we even lost a few greenies during that game.

Agreed with Mission, I've got the same issues on Village. For some reason I rarely start C side.

I'll say this as well, in regards to beating you guys last night. There was 3 of us who seemed to be using the ADV UAV/Stealth/EMP. That combo when used in that quantity is hard to beat. EMP for 60 seconds is the most OP'd thing in the game IMO. Add in the fact that all 3 of us cycled through them twice, and that's a tough thing to deal with. A few times I've gone up against a good team where everyone used this combo and it was practically impossible to beat them. At all times they knew where you were, and which direction you were heading. Only to have a dozen or so Stealth's dropped on your head from every which direction. And then the constant EMP spammed is just icing on the cake.

And Conman must have been searching me out that game, just checked the scorecard and he killed me 10 times out of the 24 or so I died ha-ha.

Yeah while I typed Mission, I meant Village! The Village A spawn can be brutal.

Yeah some maps seem to stand out more than others, but I can confirm the Villiage/Mission thing, although it is opposite for me.

Probably 95% I start up high (C) on Mission, and in the caves (A) on Village. Good for one, crappy for the other. I wonder what makes this so. It's too large of a sample size at this point to be a coincidence.

I cant remember the last time I started on the opposite spawns on those maps either.
