My connection (aka: 'MW3 skill') goes through the roof as my bandwidth tanks. I absolutely LOVE when the girl puts a Netflix movie on-- if she doesn't I'm starting up a massive pron download of epic proportions. That way, I have something to look forward to after my gaming session is over!

But seriously, tank your connection enough and you become unstoppable. I'm like Neo and the professional combined! Bullets just slide off me-- I play with them! Lol!

Well said, I feel the same way. I experience no more or no less lag than previous titles. I still enjoy the game.....but feel that BLOPS had more fleshed out features. I hope to see the best of both BLOPS and MW3 in BLOPS2.

Wait, I thought the inverse was the case. The better your connection, the more the lag comp killed ya, but what your saying is that the game operates in a way that a weaker connection gets the code on your side and makes you actually perform better? Hmm...interesting.

... Yes to BOTH. As you just said: the better my connection the worse my lag. The worse my connection the more the lag seems to work in my favor-- yes the lag is bad and weird **** happens but you'd be amazed the things you'll survive on a 2 bar connection.

You can very easily 'fix' your connection by manually routing your 360 through a ****** domain. That works as well as limiting bandwidth-- but it's a pain switching it every time.

Had a great gaming day yesterday. Pretty much rolled every team we faced. Had some close ones though. Went up against a couple top 1000 Dom guys and a couple of clan units that gave us a good fight. Only lost when Mrs. backed out of a game to pick someone up cause she wasn't paying attention to do it earlier.

We also got DSL service for the kids... How bad is that? Now their netflix won't impede my Xbox playing!!!

I regret not joining you guys yesterday...got wrapped in playing Fez despite the fact that I wasn't really enjoying it, I just felt compelled to complete it. I still haven't really got a chance to fully get into the new maps.

I love both the new maps. I have never really played anything other than KC and TDM but with the new maps they throw in Dom and I am loving playing that on both.

For the "new" maps to work, you have to go to the Elite playlist.

^ Nope not until June when the DLC comes out for the NON-Elite members, the same thing they did until March when the first DLC for NON-Elite members was released.

I also have to say the 2 new maps are pretty good considering.

Chas, we stayed full to the point of having a queue. I had Man's name down. But invitations would go out when someone left. At the point man was going to be invited, he was off. So moved on to the next person.

I have Elite. I have all of the DLC available to date. Nobody plays them, when I say nobody, that means 1% of players online at any given time. The Elite playlist lobby is a wasteland. For the maps that are in the rotation I have to disable DLC to get in to a game because to have even 1 person in a 12 person lobby with the DLC that's 8.5% of players owning. I would be surprised if that number has been reached yet. I hope others have had better success, but for me I wont bother with it right now.

I haven't had a prob at all...although I really only play the TDM/KC/DOM elite playlist. Are you playing one of the others?

I had two of my better games back to back yesterday, 56-9 on dome and 34-4 on resistance. On dome, my victim was [NSTY]backslash0316 who I killed 18 times, haha.

Just randomly checked the elite release calendar, wondering what that classified stuff was all about...and most of that stuff is gone. But it says for may....4 maps.

Which sounds sweet, but I'm guessing half of those are older maps.

Good god, if they bring back terminal that would completely validate MW3 as being the CoD with the worst maps ever.

If they're going to bring some MW2 maps back, why not bring some GOOD maps back-- like Quarry, Afghan, Favela, Scrapyard or (my personal favorite) Trailer Park! Heck, I'd take Underpass over Terminal... What am I saying-- I'd even take ESTATE over terminal! Lol!

Terminal was one of my favorite maps - although I play mostly FFA, which may color that impression (the long hallway of noob tubes isn't in play as it is in Dom and TDM). Liked all the other maps you mentioned as well - well, Underpass maybe not so much.

There's very few MW2 maps I disliked anyway. I'll be happy with just about any of them but wasteland or derailed.

Of course this is all just an assumption...we could potentially get 4 all new maps...or 4 old maps. 2 new and 2 old seems right though.

If the "classified" stuff really is just old maps, we're going to end up with a whole lot of maps by the end.

Played a bunch of hard core TDM last night with Snarky and his clan peeps. I keep forgetting how much I love hard core!! And except for a match on Dome where I was absolutely dreadfull, it was a blast. Just couldn't move on Dome without being shot in the back in that game.
