Broken HDMI pins

Thread Starter
Somehow the pins on the HDMI port got bent and pushed in. I tried to straighten but I broke two. Is there any way to replace the HDMI port or should I just buy a stand alone Blu-Ray player? PS3 works fine via composite and optical connection. Just cant get Dolby DTS via the optical audio cable. What to do?? Thanks

I'm sure there are many ports available from electronics supply stores, but likely NOT in a quantity of 1. This is not a Walmart/Bestbuy part.

I'd suggest a pawn shop and look for any device that has an HDMI port that's cheap. Many of the pinouts on the main board are identical as the HDMI port is not likely something that's going to be designed by the actual OEM, but by a supplier who sells them in volume.

It'll take some soldering skill, though.
