You will get dse with directtv its in the source period. fact. You should be able to see the bars on a still image medium grey from a paused dvd player. If there not there or are very faint you will not see them in normal programing. The paning showing those bars are source related and probly not the display. if dtv.
No way are those bars the source. I get them also. Just like the poster said, specially on lighter colored screen while it is moving left/right. I have a nice Nikon camera, maybe if I get the chance I'll try to take a picture of them. I have to find a movie that has light colored background moving left to right or right to left. I'll even try to get multiple movies so no one can say it is the source. I'm sorry, Sony has just gone down hill. I saw a Samsung at my friends house and I can't wait to sell my Sony and get the Samsung. Gorilla glass...on a TV???? That glass is for tablets, phones, handheld stuff you touch, not a friggin TV.
