The motivation is being helpful but it is clear and obvious you don't get that. Matters not to me.
I get PM's and also thank you responses from folks unaware of the cal thread to begin with; the same held true over on the HX800 thread.
What you find prudent and what already exists as two separate threads are two completely different things.
Distinct cal threads exist for a multitude of models on AVS for good reason.
Folding in or combining the two threads? Are you serious? No further comment on that.
These threads stay relevant for years after any particular model goes obsolete because some folks are just slow to get around to finding AVS to begin with and/or are catching up to optimizing their sets - for a myriad of reasons not obvious to most.
