Why Panasonic chose to make the top so hideous and put in big bold letters "Touch-free sensor"? That is damn ugly. Just put a picture of a hand symbol there for the sensor or something, not plaster big bold words all over the player. The 3D logo on top is also ugly and not needed IMO.

1. Picture Glitch - Looks like a millisecond of white snow on the bottom half of the screen.

At first I thought it may be the HDMI cable, but then I switched it with my DirecTV box and the Directv with the original 110 HDMI worked fine.

I have a Panasonic Plasma GT25 if that helps, no audio equipment as the sound goes through the TV. Any ideas? I am using port savers for the HDMI on the TV, but again when I switched the HDMI cables from the 110 to the Directv box there was no issue. Is this something limited to Blu-ray dvds/1080p content?

And if you pause then press play it jumps to a different part of the movie instead of resuming. FF/RW does the same thing, it will FF but when you press play it jumps to a different part of the movie.

So far Wild Media Server has worked the best but still not as functional as I think home streaming should be with a DLNA device. Starting to learn the hard way that DLNA sucks.

I got my BDT110 Thursday.

Since then spent some time experimenting DLNA client functionality. I can get images, music and certain mpeg files (recorded using my sony camcorder) to play via DLNA. But most other mpeg files couldn't be played via DLNA. So far i tried TVersity, TvMobili and PS3 media servers.

On failure to play a mpeg file, my Panasonic blu-ray BDT110 reports that "Cannot connect. Please confirm Network connection and settings"

If anyone else seen the problem and found a work around, please share. Thanks /

Also, with the DLNA client looking towards my Windows Media Player the only thing that plays is WMV, no MKV or DIVX. So it's all up to the support of the DLNA server as to what files this thing will play? And I've noticed not all my MKV's are showing up in the Network Drive folder. Lame lame lame.

Reading through the manual, the only feature I have found that the 65 has that the 110 does not is 7.1 reformatting. Not impt to me since I have a 5.1 setup.

Of course, the 110 seems to be faster and use less power. I assume BD and DVD upscaling is equivalent or better on the 110 than the 65.

I may just stick this in my bedroom and build an HTPC, I was really hoping this would be a decent home theatre solution. But for 67 dollars I shouldn't complain lolz.

I have them both. Get the BDT-110, it will have a slightly longer support lifespan from Panasonic, though they have been very good about supporting older players. The BDT110 has a nicer home UI and the much nicer Netflix 3.0 interface. The BD65 has a very simple Netflix interface that will only display whatever is in your Instant Queue, it does not do any queue management nor can you search/browse for titles.
