Ltd I am going to build a sealed and also a pr test enclosure for 18's. I should be able to tune the pr enclosure from about 32hz with no added weight to about 16hz with full weight.

Just a brief update - have added a couple more 18" pro subs to the mix as I wanted a bit more chest thumping without having to add kilowatts of power. Next step is to add in my other MaelX in place of my dual 12" bandpass subs. Not in the picture is my Peavey 18" LR bandpass sub which is good to 25Hz.

In case it isn't obvious; I am going for the PA stack in the house look!

Funny I looked at buying a behringer sub like you have but just for the on board amp.

Glad to see your still alive and thumping.

Indeed, the TD18H is the star of the bass, both in looks and performance. Selling as I want to take the next step in point source audio.

These are the passive versions and their current state is only temporary. Expect a new iteration in a little while. There will be even more thumping!

Just an update - changed to dual opposed rather than bandpass. Also removed all grills to make them go faster

Another update in the ever evolving world of my loungeroom. Right now there are 5 x 18" (You can't see the 4th order BP), 4 x 15", 2 x 12", 6 x 5" and 2 x 1". Of course the Yorkville Unity U215 is the newest member of the family. Still working on getting the 2 Mael Xs back in the room. The U215 is my next step towards a Synergy Horn

An even better question is "What aren't woofers?" Along with the TD18s I have a Peavey LR, Behr 18s (this looks like the space for my Mael Xs), AE PB12 and of course 18 Sound Neo 15s in the Yorkvile Unity. Sure thing I have a 7 channel HT amp (200W/8Ohm), 4 channel pro amp (AM1200S-1200W/4ohm bridged), DCX (phase and time allignment) and MiniDSP. Subs HP at 80Hz. It can get crazy loud and the drivers barely move. (Not that I do this of course )

TD18H definitely sounds better than the Behr and the Peavey BW it replaced. The midbass from it is fantastic! It also measured very flat to 500Hz, nearfield.

Where are the 12s in the pic? Could you link to the amp being used for the Unity/TD18s? Also could you please elaborate on your thoughts about the Unitys.

More TD18Hs are needed....

Seeing all those stacked in that manner, reminds me of the good old days. Arriving at a club to put on a show, having never been there before,....and not knowing what the house thought was a "killer house rig". Only a handful of times did I not know well in advance, but it did happen.

Anyway, that's exactly what I thought of upon seeing your pics,...which btw,..way cool. I'll bet that TD18 hits nice and incisively.

Also, the pics remind me of the system in Jesse Pinkman's place,...for thosethat understand who that is.
