Just got the set I noticed when the room is dark you can see the side lighting, is this what you guys mean by the clouding effect? Is this the same on all led tv's?

Ok I'm bailing on the tv. Too much work trying to get this to have a decent picture when gaming. I tried all and every possible suggestion that was made recently. I have been hooking the xbox, and ps3 up directly to the hdmi input 1 on the tv, The only other variable would be the "High speed" (bs) cable. I currently am using 1.3b spec. I find it hard to believe that it could be the cable though. I'm going plasma. Thanks for everyone help btw.
The only question now is Samsung or panasonic?
Are you kidding me?
You would rather get rid of the T.V. than buy a 1.4 hdmi cable for less than $20?
(It makes no sense..)
I have the same tv and a xbox 360 S 250GB and the LG LHB976 HTIB I used (1) 1.4 hdmi to go from receiver to hdmi input1 on the tv and (1) 1.3 hdmi to go from the xbox to the hdmi input1 on my receiver, and everything is clear as bell and I play Black Ops and Battlefield2:BC....
Black Ops- not so much in 3D because aiming down sight will through me off a bit...
B2:BC - 3D by way of tv converting 2D-3D
All works fine for me no blurring or anything, also if you go for plasma you'll have to worry about the obvious burn-in issue and if it's a 3D model and you try it with those 1.3b cables you'll probably get the same result(blurry pic)
Oh yeah some receivers with the hdmi pass through have been able to pass the 3D signal through(you still need a 1.4 hdmi cable), I can try and walk you through if you like just PM me later...
