Hello, new member here. I have really learned a lot from reading the many posts on these forums, so I thought I would bring my question here. I am currently looking to get a two channel setup for my home. The room I am putting the setup in is fairly large with high ceilings (12ft.) I have narrowed my tower choices down to the three following speakers with prices I would be able to purchase these speakers at next to them:
B&W CM9: ($1650/pair)
ML Source ($650/pair)
Def. Tech. STS Supertowers ($1450/pair)
I know speakers are a personal preference, and I have listened to all three. In all honesty, the ML's were hands down my favorite, however, their notorious small sweet spot might be too much for me to overcome, considering this setup will be used for entertaining purposes as well and my own enjoyment. I am leaning toward the CM9's, but I am starting to wonder if just the sheer beauty of the glossy black with the kevlar is what is gravitating me to them more than the actual sound.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
