Netflix PC streaming stereo only?

Few questions about streaming...

1) Nothing but stereo from streaming Netflix to my PC. Anyway to get DD and/or DTS?

2) Any 1080P TrueHD and/or DTS MA HD streaming less expensive than $5.99/movie from VUDU

Thank you

I believe netflix only streams in surround/HD via the ps3 currently, although I'm not positive about this.

All the devices can get HD and stereo from Netflix but only the PS3 can get 1080P/5.1(on the few titles where it is available) while other devices can only get 720P and stereo.

Streaming at high quality via the internet is currently a fallacy. While you may get 1080 lines of resolution, you are always getting less than 5Mbps. The blu-ray version of most movies is 38Mbps or more. The DTS-MA track of a blu-ray movie alone is 3.5Mbps. Netflix does not stream any higher than 5Mbps currently and even then it is inconsistent.

Your quality on Netflix will be lousy and lossy until they change their datarate. The same is true of all other internet based streaming services including VUDU.

Even DVD data bitrate is 8Mbps...
Broadcast HDTV is 19.2Mbps...
