I have Beverly Hills Cop and Top Gun on Bd-Rom and I found nothing wrong with them, they look way better than the DVD versions

I've noticed a few transfers on there, that look untampered with, in comparison to the BD release. The Three Amigos print looks pretty worn, but it doesn't appear to have any DNR or wacky colours.

Just turn off DX desktop - right click desktop and uncheck Aero. I have to do this to take screenshots of most games I play, otherwise, like you said it's just a black box.

What's your desktop res? My desktop is 1920x1080 so I can snag some shots if you want.

EDIT: Nevermind, Top Gun isn't available to stream on Netflix. At least not in the U.S.

But the 3D edition will use a new hd master (like Titanic) or the old 2005 hd master?

I can take shots but the encode appears to top out at 720p with lots of compression issues. Xylon's HDTV images probably look better.
