1" Vertical red line on right of screen

I am not sure if this is where I am supposed to put it but I have been given a Vision 42" Plasma not sure of the model anyhow there is a one inch thick red vertical line through the picture it ain't solid i can still see the picture through it I have opened it up to see internals and the model number for the display panel is PDP42X2 it's made by LG any advice would be much apreciated.
