I realized there isn't much discussion surrounding Panasonic's LCD offerings, and as such I would like to see how others are setting up their displays.
So, I thought I'd throw these out there and see if anyone has anything similar/different to report for this or any other LCD model from Panasonic.
"Calibrated" using DVE HD Basics on Bluray
Model: TC-L42U25
Input: HDMI
Source: Satellite/Bluray
Backlight: 20
Contrast: 90
Brightness: 75
Color: 38
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 0
Temperature: Warm
Black level: Light
Motion Picture Pro (120Hz): OFF
All post-processing settings set to OFF
Contrast seems a bit high at times, though I'm not sure how to lower this without losing too much realism in the color spectrum. Any suggestions? I've been toying with the idea of professional calibration so I can just forget about this and move on with my life.
