Don't forget, once you have calibrated rew to the meter, if you change the dial setting on the meter, or the levels on your INPUT, you will have to recalibrate.

You can change the level on your receiver all you want.

This is after I changed the level on the meter, 1st time said 12dB in RED and said HIGH

You can bump up the level since you have 22db headroom.

I put it to 120, redid it, didnt register, put to 110, didnt register, put it to 100 and it went +0 to +4dB... bounces... so I set it to 102 for correction and did a sweep.

ok this sucks already. i had the receiver at -30 and it was pretty laid back, took it to -25... still nothing too big, but:

That is great. Now change the scale to be 5dB steps instead of 20dB.

fun! FUN! OK, I am in the middle of recalibrating, bumped up to 110dB from 100, when I click calibrate it's -3dB on the ratshack, so 107dB, so then I put 107 in the box, click OK, and got 123dB headroom... too high? Ill redo with snapshots, then after I do a sweep like that Ill change scale

20dB is huge! We're not talking pure dB's here so you don't really want that. Bring the scale down to a more narrow view. Will make it easier to see whats going on. So far, so good.

Gotta get the SPL data on the plot - can't see a thing there.....

Set your minimum SPL to ~80, your max to ~120, then let's see what the curve looks like. Maybe we can blow the plot up a little more.

Note that the left scale (dB) has changed to have 100 at the bottom and 120 at the top.

Getting closer - see how the top of the plot is clipped off? We want to get that data back on the screen - so let's make the top limit 130 and the bottom 110 dB.

By the way - I'm jealous... My sub seems "inadequate" in comparison....
