Hello guys,
As some of you may know from my earlier post back in Feb. I was working on my own amateur 3D movie called Fukuoka Custom Car Show 3D. I filmed all the custom cars at the show in 3D from different angles, edited the footage and added a 5.1 channel surround sound audio track using Sony Vegas Pro 10. I have over an hour and 30 minutes of footage I believe.
It has taken me weeks and weeks to finally finish, but now I am all done!
I think it turned out pretty good though at times the camera is a little shakey due to people bumping me or the soft rubber floor bouncing (they had this horrible rubber floor to hide wires connected to the cars that bounces a bit when people walk on it) Nothing major though, I used a tripod though I was not supposed to use one there
Originally, I was gonna sell this movie for my own profit. However, as I am sure many of you know a large 8.9 earthquake hit Japan yesterday and not long after a tsunami hit as well causing major damage and taking very many lifes. At the moment Japan is in a state of shock, confusion and panic. Even now almost every 20 minutes a 5.0-6.0 aftershock hits scaring people.
Though I am safe in my city, I can feel small quakes at times as well and can't contact any of my friends in North Japan because phone lines are down.
This is a horrible event and there is so much damage it will take years to clean up. Japan is literally almost shut down from this.
So, I have decided that every disc of my movie I sell most the money I make will be donated to help those in need here. The only money I shall use from customers is to buy a BD disc, and ship the movie. The rest shall go to those in need here, every little bit helps. I have lived in Japan 10 years and people here have always been kind and helpful to me, I feel now this is my time to help them. I most likley will use profits to buy food and drinks to those needing it.
I am highly considering volunteering to travel North and help people.
Once I finish making a cover and disc lable I will start selling the disc on my website, www.blazin3D.com (Please excuse the site at the moment, I will be editing it and getting it ready soon)
It shall be available by tomorrow or the next day for those interested.
Thank you all
