XBL Zune Video Marketplace update today

Adds "preview browsing". Go to any list of films (like one of the top lists--usually the newest stuff--or a genre list, etc), press the "X" button and it will just start playing previews for the stuff in the list, in HD if available. Left and right will stop the one that's currently playing and move to the next.

I'm not sure how much of an improvement it is, but it's kind of impressive. Very smooth.

It might have been put up before today--I probably haven't been in the Zune Video Marketplace for a little while.

EDIT: It's a total revamp of the GUI with changes throughout. Enter any title description and it starts streaming a trailer for the movie in an inset window. Hit UP to select the inset and press X and it blows it up to fill the screen. Very nice.

Cool. Will definitely be checking this out. I've always thought the Zune stuff looked every bit as good as Vudu....I just tend to use Vudu more since my PS3 is quieter.

I have the opposite situation--my PS3 is a relatively loud 60GB launch model and my Xbox is a 1 y/o Jasper Elite, quite a bit quieter than the PS3 (my original Xbox, a launch model, had a fan that sounded like a Briggs & Stratton engine). I've heard that the "Xbox Slim" is nearly silent and I'd expect for the PS3 Slim to be so as well.

Yeah...old 40GB launch PS3 and launch xbox for me. Need to upgrade both to the slim models.
