Has anyone had success with the Harmony One and if so can you share how you made it work please?
Hello: Here's what I did to set up the Samsung SmartHub activity on my Harmony One:
1) Used the harmony software on my iMac (or PC) to create (add) a new activity which I named SmartHub
-Selected devices ( in my case the Samsung TV ( D6000) and my Sony soundbar/Receiver)
-Selected the HDMI port ( used between the TV and Soundbar)
-Selected "TV" input on my Soundbar
2)Once the new activity is created--then I selected "Customized Buttons" on the new activity
Then you have a whole list of options to select Button/Device/Command to build these commands on the Harmony One
For example from left to right: Button (Menu)
Device ( TV)
Repeat the above for all the buttons on the list that are relevant actions for your devices
The above now allows me to use the Harmony One to:
Select SmartHub activity on the Harmony One
-Turns on/off my TV and goes directly to the SamrtHub
-Turns on/off my Sound Bar and switches input on the Receiver to "TV"
-Use all the buttons on the Harmony One that I setup in "Customize Buttons" above E.g.: Menu, Exit, Up Arrow, Dwn Arrow etc.
Hope that helps! ( I also posted this on the Logitech Support Forum)
Of course the above requires that you have already added your devices in the Harmony desktop app...I've set up:
Sony Sound Bar
DirecTV HD DVR
With the following activities:
and now SmartHUB.
