Panasonic Premiere TH-50VX100U and CalMAN Calibration

The Premiere displays have limited color management controls and as a result push some colors. Does using a software program like CalMAN give someone calibrating the display complete color and greyscale control to bring these displays back to standard, or is it just not possible with this particular Panasonic model?

thanks

Does it matter? I mean, why would you buy a 2009 model at premium (err..."premiere") prices?

Why not spend the money on a 2011 P50VT30, if not a bigger model? If that doesn't float your boat, maybe a used or new old stock Kuro would. That's my advice.

Way to be condescending Noah. Nowhere did he ask for purchasing advice, just how to better calibrate a set he already owns.
