As of April 29, 2011, after applying the current firmware update, my 609 reports its firmware version as 1031-0400-0010-3101.
By the way, I tried doing the firmware update over the network and ended up with Error!! 3-84 on the display. I was afraid I'd bricked it, but after unplugging and replugging it came back to life. I had no problem with the update over USB -- let's hope that one of the things fixed by the firmware update is the network firmware update process!

Thanks for the heads up that a new FW was available. I updated via NET for the second time without difficulty. The first time when I purchased it a few weeks ago took ~30 minutes, this time only 3 minutes.
It does state it is supposed to improve update functionality. Maybe it will give us notice via the receiver that updates are available? That would be a handy feature.

It got here yesterday. I am very happy with it. I got it so I could move the 608 upstairs with a new TV coming this week. I have several hours listening to Pandora but right now I'm listening to Cool Blue FM 96.1 on your radio dial from right there in Auckland, New Zealand via vTuner which is new to me but it really has about a bazillion stations from around the world covering every genre and sub-genre you can imagine.
