I'm looking for recommendations on a camcorder that is similar to the Panasonic HDC-TM700. I was willing to spend $750 on it but now it's gone up to $850. Unbelievable! Anyway, cheaper is better of course but what camcorders out there have like quality to the Panasonic? I really do like the Panasonics because I am able to control them with the way my hands are. I have limited mobility due to paralysis in with the way my fingers are curled up I found it difficult to control the canons. Not sure about the sonys but I'm willing to give anything a try if there's one like the Panasonic in features and quality. I really like the fact the Panasonic tm700 has time lapsed filming and slow motion, this would be a real plus it it was on another camcorder. Also, I probably would be editing on a Mac which I heard is a nightmare for 60p format. I read somewhere you have to convert it using a program called aunsoft. I have final cut of express and adobe premiere but have no idea on how to use them yet. iMovie is much simpler and quicker to use so I would much rather use that if possible for quick edits. All and any advice would be great. Thank you in advance.
