No reason to shoot PF30 if you want to treat it as interlaced. Treated as progressive PF30 gives you twice higher spatial resolution with twice lower temporal resolution.

60p would be the best choice if low-light was not a consideration - you can make it into 30p or 60i. Still with 60p you would have to use 1/60 shutter to get 60 different frames just like with 60i, and if you use 1/30 it will be no different than 30p because two consecutive frames will be identical.

60p isn't an option though... Canon only has 60i, PF30, PF24 and 24p (the first three stored in a 60i container)... Right?
