I think I've finalized my list of purchase for my basement HT set up. Please critique or leave suggestions. The room is 21' W x 17' D x 8.5' H. It'll be used for Gaming/Movies and is completely light controlled.
FL/FR - Aperion 6T
FC - Aperion 6C
Rear Surrounds - Aperion 5B
Side Surrounds - Aperion 4BP
Reciever - Denon 3311 or 4311
Projector - Epson 8700UB (already purchased today)
Screen - Maybe Jamestown 110" or 120" i sit 12' away from the wall i'm going to project on to
Sub(s) - (1) Sonotube sealed Maelstorm 21" (Lowpass 40 Hz) powered by Crown xti-2000 corner loaded
(2) Sealed Boxes Shivea 12" for 40Hz - 100 Hz powered by Crown xti-1000. 1 sub on each channel. These will be placed upfront near the FL/FR speakers.
I wanted low end extension of the 21" but am apprehensive of its ability to reproduce the higher sub/midbass frequencies. Thanks for looking
