I called WCBS. They said they can't put it on because USA Network has the rights. URGH!!!

Obviously, they have their heads in the wrong place. If that were true, why would any of the CBS Affiliates be able to broadcast this in HDTV. As a matter of fact, why broadcast HDTV at all?

Doesn't Viacom own both USA and CBS? I think someone's asleep at the switch in the Big Apple!

Does this mean we won't be getting Masters at all in New York? That sucks!

I just callled and left a message for the WCBS Program director (Jim something), asking why the NY affiliate isn't broadcasting. If I get a response, I'll post it.

What does that mean? Did someone at NY's CBS just fall asleep at the wheel?
I will contact CBS in NYC and see what can be done for Friday.
Thanks Ken for the update about the lack of coverage in NYC area. There was no problem with getting it last year.
News Flash: All CBS O&O's should carry The Masters HD feed on Friday, including NYC.

Nice job, Ken. Now can you perform some more magic by calling DirecTV and telling them to put SHO-HD on so we can stop these incessant predicition threads?;)

Seriously, though, thanks for straightening out WCBS.

The difficult can be done sooner with effort, the impossible takes a little longer.
