Is tthere something wrong with my UN46D6000?

It looks weird like a Soap Opera? Like fake video I dont really know who to explain this? Anyways is there something I am missing? Or is this the way the TV is? Thanks

Turn off AMP (auto motion plus) under picture settings->advanced.

Congrats on the new TV. Can you post some pictures on the D6000 owners thread?

Yeah thanks for the fast reply!! I just checked the settings and AMP is turned off??

Just set auto motion to off. That is what gives you the soap opera effect. You can set it to clear which will give u a little motion but also gives you a little better picture rather than going with off. You can always use custom too, make your own motion settings to your liking.

It wont let me enable AMP? It wont let me select it?

Hit menu on your remote,go to picture,use arrows keys move down to picture settings,go down to auto motion and choose off or whatever you want.

Make sure you don't have game mode or any eco/energy settings turned on. If so turn them off.
