I have read through this thread from the beginning and I have to commend all of those involved for doing such an excellent job
! I can not imagine the work that went into planning this GTG
. It is too bad that there were a few equipment issues but that is bound to happen. I'm sure it did not minimize the overall positive experience of those that attended. I can't imagine traveling anywhere with my SongTowers as I would be a nervous wreck that they would get damaged. So I give alot of credit to those that transported their speakers as to me it takes a lot of guts to do that!
The one downer of this thread is a few members who continue to post off topic BS. The worst is Solid-State who just can't seem to help himself and continues to post such off topic BS that it is pretty sad IMO. I see this same type of posting over at another forum he frequents. The other issue I see is some off the questions raised by some as to why those that organized the GTG did not do this or that. I can't blame the organizers if further WI GTG's are just for the local members of WAC. It is too bad as it should be all about having a good time, meeting new people and listening to some great new speakers. I think some do not realize the hard work and the planning that goes into a GTG of this magnitude.
