Seriously though, I dont really care what we listen to at the GTG. I enjoy well recorded music either way as long as we have a variety.
You don't really think anyone believes that do you?

IMHO, evaluating speakers should be about feeding them the highest quality source material available. We all have less than stellar recordings at home, that's certainly not what I want to hear while trying to evauate what quality speakers are capable of.
Unfortunately, most of the tracks I would like to hear are somewhat lengthy, so I understand if they aren't practical. That all said, and out of the way, I have a couple I'd like to suggest

. They are all direct to DSD recordings, all instrumental with a wide frequency spectrum, and great dynamics.
Spyro Gyra, on the "Good To Go-Go" album, track 10 "A Winter Tale"
Monty Alexander, "My America", track 3 "Love and Happiness"
McCoy Tyner "Illuminations", track 3 "New Orleans Stomp"
I have little doubt that organizing, and executing an event such as this is no small endeavor, I look forward to what will surely be a great meet!
