New Computer

I couldn't help myself. I went to Microcenter and purchased an Intel 2500k for $179 and MSI H67MA-E45 for $99. I need to get some memory and I will probably get a video card as well to play games. Overall I am pretty stoked about this. I can't wait to get Ubuntu up and running on this thing.

I am going to go back to Microcenter and pick up some ram. They have 4GBs for $39. Frys has an AMD 5770 for $79 with rebate. I always seem to get burned by their rebates. Also, I am not a big fan of AMD graphics for Linux. I haven't kept up, so maybe they have gotten better. I will probably look for Nvidia 450 on sale.

Oh, Microcenter has cheap flash drives. I picked up an 8GB for $10.99. I think the 16GB is $20.99. Those are some good prices for non-sale and non-rebate flash drives. I am about to install Puppy on the one I just bought.
