I'm moving from Chicago to Colorado next week and had to sell my JVC 70" Pro because of downsizing to a smaller house, Actually we are retiring to Castle Rock, CO. I need a 55" and will install it over the fireplace.. I seen this TV at Sams Club today and was surprised to see how great the PQ was. So would you consider this tv to be the best bang for the buck? 3d and many cool interesting features for under $2000 is hard to beat.

I think it is certainly the best bang for the buck. I picked up this model after waiting on the fence for a long time. I bought it two weeks ago but just set it up today. So far I am really liking what I see. I see need to learn a lot about it but for the money and the imho great picture you get, you cant beat this tv.

I want this set, but I have concern over it shutting off by itself after reading the Vizio xvt3d554sv thread. I hope this is a problem Vizio can and will fix with a firmware update. It has me scared to buy one now. I might end up spending more on a Samsung/LG or Sony unless they are problematic also.
