Still no luck connecting my NR609. I even purchased a new router (Linksys E1500) in hopes that it was the problem. More info below (in response to your questions):

Yep. I've tried that multiple times. Also, I've tried setting up a static IP and pinging the Onkyo from my laptop-- but get "no route to host".

When the Onkyo is configured for DHCP, it does not show up in the DHCP Clients table. I also have logging enabled and it does not show up in the DHCP request log either (but all my other devices do, so I know the log is working).

I did a factory reset last night. Still no network connectivity. I know the factory reset worked because I had to reconfigure everything after. I wish they made a way to save/restore your settings with a USB stick.

Yes, I've tried unplugging many times. I've tried unplugging the router and Onkyo, plugging in the router, waiting for it to get an IP on the Internet and then plugging in the Onkyo. I've read that sometimes works-- but not for me.

I don't recall for sure if the network lights on the port lightup, but I
think they do. I know the port is fine. I unplugged the cable from the Onkyo and plugged it into my Roku instead and the Roku got an IP no problem (and I even tested streaming some HD video to make sure throughput was OK).
I'm beginning to think I have a faulty unit, but I really don't want to have to ship it to Onkyo. Sounds troublesome and expensive.
Thanks all for the help! I really appreciate it!
