Sowk. That's pretty much a bat cave except for the carpet. You might improve things a bit more by buying a black carpet to lay in front of the screen horizontal and going toward you say 5 ft. To experiment, you can buy some cheap black felt and lay it out. You might be surprised as to the improvement.
I had installed a black carpet for the 10 ft in front of the screen. The difference is substantial! It is worth doing. Unfortunately, it was too late to put electric black drapes on my side walls. My ceiling is black, for first 10 feet..

I now use a sony qualia 004.. much superior..
Black ceiling, carpet and dark walls.. are extremely important, for video.. As are acoustic panels for audio.. Without them, the best projector and best audio gear are being under used..Edited by audvid - 10/30/12 at 12:33pm
