What is the difference between the 732 and 632? I'm a little nervous I made the wrong decision for my dad. The 632 is quite a bit cheaper. Is the 632 backlit like the 732?

It's rated at 200 lbs so that's double what the TV weighs. I hung on it before I put the TV on it & I'm quite a bit over 200 lbs. Doesn't swivel but it holds the TV close to the wall and tilts which is all I wanted.

WHAT MOUNT do I get??? I need a tiltable mount, and have read on here that low profile tiltable mounts don't work well with a tv this size.

Which COSTCO mount have people used? I'd like to just buy local in case I'm unhappy with the mount. However, if the best mount is to be had online, then I'd do that. Help!

Jay, why are you asking so much from game mode? At my house, it is used exclusively for my Xbox games. I have no lag. I chose the movie & user mode to calibrate the picture. I'm pretty sure these modes allow more range to obtain a perfect picture. Only problem I have is having to switch modes depending on the source. I also don't understand the expectation of other's settings being perfect for their TV. My experience is they are like snowflakes

Do you have your blu ray player set to Source Direct when trying to calibrate using S&M? That is needed so the blu ray sends the signal unprocessed directly to your tv so you can calibrate properly.

I've been trying to play with my S&M disc in game mode, but this set has serious issues calibrating... None of the test patterns work right. Whites are completely clipped, even turning contrast to 0 wont show the full patterns. In order to get the "color bars" to equal out for proper balance with the white bar I had to crank the CMS value to C +30 B +30 and M +4. Anyways, I got the game mode to look as close to the cnet movie mode as I could

Any thoughts on different settings or am I out of luck?

Also, does anyone notice the very limitted viewing angles? I feel like it is a projection TV with trying to sit one seat to the right of the TV corner.

Any help appreciated as I love the size of the TV and would really like to keep it but Sunday is coming and I think I'm losing sleep over what I see.

1. The settings you got from CNET are designed to give a realistic picture for watching movies on the particular unit they were calibrating. The two problems with this are that you want some cartoonish overly bright and unrealistic picture and that you have a different unit from the one CNET was calibrating. Even if you were going for realistic viewing the CNET settings aren't likely to translate that well to your TV. What you did was probably the worst possible step towards getting the picture you wanted.

2. When properly adjusted this TV gives a realistic picture. If you want something cartoonish and video-gamey you might have bought the wrong TV.

3. Viewing angles on this TV are not its strong suit. You would have realized this had you read the very nice review on the first page of this thread.

djap2, You should give these a try. I tried to tame things, but colors are still more saturated vs the almost muted looking movie mode. I'm not sure how fast action will look with all motion enhancement disabled though?
