Sure does. The wheel has specific key combinations to put it into PC/PS3 and XBOX 360 mode. You'll need a USB for both PC/PS3 mode, but it works wirelessly with the 360. I ended up buying the PS3 wireless adapter off of a friend because he wasn't using it.

From what I understand the Fanatex GT2 has the same internals as my PWTS except a heavier rim with alacantra leather. Like mourrri I'm also using the clubsport pedals (HIGHLY recommended over the cheaper standard pedals) which have a very realistic pedal feel and resistance.

It's a lot of dough the shell out, but as I said before if you really like racing sims, then it's a good investment.

I picked up Forza 3 recently, mainly due to the fact that Porsche Will Not be in Forza 4.

I haven't opened Forza 3 yet. Should I take it back and put the money towards Forza 4?

Or should I keep Forza 3?

Keep Forza 3 because it does have the Porsches especially if you like them. I was driving the Carrera GT the other night and it was pretty fun. Just make sure you bought the " Ultimate Collection " edition which already includes all of the DLC. It should cost no more than $29.95.

I know Porsche will not be in Forza 4 but I'm hearing that some of your cars in Forza 3 will be " gifted " to you based on your play of that game. I wonder if that will be some workaround for turn 10 to let you have a few Porsches in Forza 4 since technically the cars are coming from Forza 3.

It stinks that they won't be in Forza 4. I was really hoping they would carry over and maybe even add a 917

I'm still debating taking it back as I LOVE Need for Speed:Hot Pursuit (that does have the Porsches / no Ferraris?) and believe I like arcade racing over sim..

Also Gears 3 and a bunch of other games are about to come out.

I heard that some Forza 3 "endurance" races are from 1-3 hours.

I don't think I'll have the time to unlock all 500 cars.....

I don't think you have to unlock any cars. They are all available from the start, you just have to earn enough money to buy them. That's done either by racing, selling tunes, paint jobs or selling cars in the auction house.

If you like more of the arcade style than sim I'd suggest trading the Forza 3 for Test Drive Unlimited ( same price ). It is really fun, has some challenging races and objectives which will give you hours and hours of play time. Plus its an open world which gives it another level of playability.

Sometime down the line you can then pick up Forza 4 and hopefully have some fun with more of a sim game and enjoy its new features like head tracking, clubs and autovista. There are some great games coming out in the next few months. I'm going to get them all and then try to pace myself so I'll have something fun to play until that next wave of games come out next year.

I was looking into the Official XBOX steering wheel and pedals, I would love a clutch and real shifter like the G27 but the Fanatics Wheel is too expensive at $499.

Is there a new wheel being released for Forza 4? or should I just get the XBOX wireless wheel?

No, I thought it was a ripoff.

I had to make sure I got that muscle car pack so I just preordered the LCE from BB for in store pick-up

Does anyone know if the Autovista will be for every car or just a select few?

Unfortunatly just a select few. Would love to walk around my new 2012 Mustang 5.0 and Clark have a go at it. Hoping we will get DLC updates for AutoVista vehicles.

As soon as I saw the Muscle Car video above I went to BB and put in my order.
When I came back, made my post and then finished the other videos posted above I saw they mentioned " select " cars will have the Autovista. I always liked the fun facts they put up while waiting for the race to load in Forza 3 and this looks like it will be cool too. Lets hope they are generous in their choices.

Does anyone know why you cannot select Forza 4 LCE with in store pickup at Best Buy? I had to spend an extra $8 on shipping to get it on release date...all because Best Buy has the 1M bonus, lol.

As soon as I saw that there was interesting day 1 DLC available, it solidified my plans to wait and hope for another Ultimate Edition release with all the DLC bundled in.

I'm glad I didn't get around to Forza 3 earlier and that the Ultimate Edition was available when I purchased (Although there was at least one DLC pack released afterwards).

Not a fan of day 1 DLC.
