But by your response, you don't care about such technical things. Enjoy your bromance, ignorance loves company.

Sorry to bump these posts but I just noticed that the troll tgable responded to me. So I i figured I respond back with PROOF! something he obviously knows ZERO about! Read the link tgable, if you'd shut your yap for one second and take all of the 3 seconds it took me to find this with google you wouldn't look so damn dumb! Here's a quick snippet from it

"The version of the Microsoft Kinect motion controller for the Xbox 360 that goes on sale tomorrow will use much less of the game system's processing power than has been reported, according to Alex Kipman, director of incubation at Microsoft. In a recent interview, Kipman said the controller's CPU usage is in the single-digit range. Previously, reports stated the Kinect would use between 10 to 15 percent of the Xbox's processing power, GamesIndustry noted."

Here's what the internal kinect expert of ubisoft had to say about it!

"Kinect uses "less than one per cent" of the Xbox 360's CPU power, Ubisoft's internal "Kinect expert" Frederic Blais has told Xbox World 360 magazine."
"Blais claimed Kinect's CPU usage is so low "we could apply Kinect to an action game and still put the same kind of action on screen".

and its pretty obvious to me.... you're All Alone in this category!!! Troll...

In Forza 4, you now get to choose which gift car you want after reaching a level. In addition, when you have DLC it becomes part of the career mode so when you reach a level it may be one of your options to choose from.

If you guys would stop quoting tgable I wouldn't have to see his posts at all.

sorry, The only reason I did was I didn't notice that he even responded to me back on the first page. I really felt the need to make sure I showed him the correct facts before he kept running a muck spewing his trash and non-sense. I can't stand when people hate just to hate and then spread misinformation as a result! Again... Sorry man!

I am looking forward to racing the test track.

To note: The Top Gear "reasonably priced car" is included in the game for proper testing.

Just to bump sweetness's post...looks like there are 2 new Forza branded wheels coming out from Fanatec, the CSR & the CSR Elite. Sweetness posted the engadget link. Here's the official Forza link:

http://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/Forza4_Wheels/

I have the Fanatec 911 wheel and I love it! I'd almost be tempted to upgrade to the CSR elite based on the optical tracking that eliminates the center dead spot on belt driven wheels.

Apparently there will also be a MadCatz wheel introduced for around $230. No official pricing for the Fanatec optoins yet, but based on past offerings I would expect the $300-$400 dollar range. In addition to that weird looking wireless speed wheel Daekwan posted earlier, there will be tons of wheel options for racing fans once Forza 4 hits the street!

This might be a good place to ask. My old MS wheel just went up in smoke, literally.

I took it out for maybe 3 races in DiRT 3 when it died, followed by smoke coming from the wheel. I know this is a common problem, and MS gave people a fix, but that was a while ago. Anyone here have luck getting their MS wheel fixed?

This is the definition of car porn.

Any game with more Top Gear sounds good to me.

Also, the ad at the end for iRacing confused me for a second, almost thought Forza added NASCAR/Indy/GT racing.

I thought the same thing and quickly realized that is more than 16 cars .

I just hope its not boring. Thats my biggest problem with these racing games as of late. GT5 was a graphics beauty, but filing my tax returns was more fun than playing the game. Forza 3 was a little bit more entertaining, but none of these titles were as fun to play as PGR or Need for Speed.

I understand the difference between a sim and arcade racer. But unless you are training for actual driving events, you need a mix of both to keep the "game" part fun to play. Probably the best thing about the devs brining Top Gear integration into Forza4 is that understand this. They understand the fun about a driving game often comes from more than just whats the fastest laptime you can lay down. I'm a fan of the 360, a fan of racing games and a huge car nut.. which means I'm buying Forza4 regardless. The real question comes in will I keep it after I buy it, only the amount of fun I have with the game can determine that.

Wouldn't it be cool to play forza in this setup?

It took me a week to make a stand out of wood for my MS wheel which I
thought was very cool and then you have to post this

D,

If you had raced with me, Kabob and some guys from Anandtech I can assure you would have fun with Forza. When Forza 2 was the only thing around we raced every Wed night and seriously it was BIG FUN. Many of the guys still do it with Forza 3 but I just didn't have the time to anymore to set up the cars, practice etc etc and be competitive enough to race each week.

I may get back into with Forza 4 but who knows.

Just like playing BLOPS its all about playing with friends that makes it all worth it.

Agreed with this. Which is why the DiRT series is one of my favorite racing franchises. It's not sim level, but it's FUN and still challenging. Forza and GT series have gotten a little stale for me since GT3 really blew me away. I'm most likely getting Forza 4, though, so we will see.

Side note, anyone have any luck getting their MS wireless wheel repaired due to the "smoking" problem?
I personally have always preferred GT series over Forza, but this game simply looks amazing! I will be picking this up day one along w/ the Fanatec CSR wheel which i also hope releases the same day. This will be my first wheel for the 360 and simply looks amazing.

http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/FM4_ALMS/

ALMS and Forza have partnered up in a sponsorship deal.
4 tracks announced (Laguna Seca, Sebring, Road Atlanta and Road America)
26 ALMS cars announced, only a hanful unveiled.

Makes me wonder if Porsche is in fact in, and I seriously hope so! ALMS series has 4 car classes running at the same time. GTC competition is a class entirely of 997 GT3 Cup cars. Porsche also was in GT class with cars like the Flying Lizard GT3 RSR, and had their RS Spyder in P2/LMPC int he past. I seriously hope we don't lose Porsche. Love the brand.

This is awesome news, I would have preferred Rolex Grand Am Series (since i work with the guys) but this is still awesome!

I have my copy pre-ordered at Best Buy, I can't wait for it. I have every Achievement in the first two 360 versions!

The ONLY thing I don't like about Forza 3 is the fact that it is really hard to make any serious money.

I've bought most of the cars I want but still have two left on my list. The Ferrari 250 GTO and the Shelby Daytona Coupe. I think I need about 32,000,000 CR just to get those two. After playing the game for over a year and getting to season 8 I've only made a few million in my career and am nowhere near having enough to buy just one of those cars.

I realize there are other ways to make money than just driving but it still takes A LOT to get to 22,000,000.

One thing Test Drive Unlimited 2 had was they gave you ways to make enough money to buy the most expensive cars in a decent amount of time and when you finished the Hawaii Cup you most likely had enough to get the Yacht.

I'm going to hit Forza 4 hard and try to fulfill my dream cars list. I just hope they make it attainable without having to dedicate ALL my time to get it.
