Seatcraft Eros Seating

Thread Starter
So, I've been searching the forums without luck trying to find anyone that has had experience with the Seatcraft Eros or really any of the Seatcraft Home Theater Seating products. The only comments I've found so far is to just spend more money and get a Berkline or Coaster, which is hard to do considering I can get double the amount of seats for the same price with Seatcraft.

Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't buy Seatcraft? I am looking for anyone with first hand experience with them. The choices for me right now are either go with all 6 Seatcraft seats and completely build out my home theater room, or only go with 3 of a more expensive brand now and maybe 3 later when budget allows. I really need a reason to justify spending more money.

I have the Seatcraft Eros seats.

I am probably the outlier here, judging by the overall thoughts on the seats and where I ordered them.

I orginally ordered a row of three and a row of two through "4seating dot com" before I researched their reviews. Then I found numerous negative reviews about them online. I became worried, but all for nothing. They responded to my emails promptly, and the semi showed up earlier than I had expected. The driver unloaded them off the truck and into my garage, and allowed me to inspect them before leaving. Not a problem. Packed very securely and all wrapped nicely in plastic. (The recycle man probably hated me that week!)

Anyway, they are great mid-level seats. They are quite comfortable for the length of movies. Probably not for longer, although I've fallen asleep for a few extra hours in them. The cushions are quite full and don't compress flat like other cheap seats.

The one negative I have found, is that if you press hard enough on the edge of the armrest you can feel the frame underneath.

They look nice, and look substantial. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune on something that was going to be in low light conditions most of the time, and only sat on for a couple hours at a time. These fit the bill nicely.

I'm actually looking to get another one to add to my row of two, as I'm reconfiguring my subs a little. You can see pictures of them in my room in one of my other posts in the What's your system forum.

Hope this helps.
