Before you trash the tv based on this photo realize its an
8 second exposure.
If you still feel the need to kill it, please accompany your post with an 8 second exposure picture of your own tv. The two red lights at the bottom are from the Wii sensor bar.
I have done a basic calibration with spears and munsil and I think the only way to achieve a better picture would be professional calibration.
The off axis viewing is good to 30º, that is longer than my couch at 12 feet. I routinely sit ~80º to the left while on the computer and while it is washed out it is not too bad for casual viewing.
Vertical axis is more restricted, but I have it mounted using a Sanus LT25.
The SD is much better than my 55A2020 but local commercials suck.
