thankyou for your reply, well as I experienced this morning the longer the amp is on standby (set with HDMI through selected) the louder the noise is from the speakers on power on as I got a reminder of this morning (loud pop from the rear speakers again).
I have spoken to Richersounds where i got it from and its off to be looked at again I sense something is wrong with the surround section of the amp as no abnormal noise is heard from the front speakers just the 4 rear speakers on power on.
I have set the amp to power on at low volume but thats not helped at all, its like something charges when the amp is in standby and discharges when the amp is turned on making the noise as mentioned.
The mains have been checked and the amp now runs on a mains conditioner and still the problem continues.
