This, however, brings up the question as to why Panasonic couldn't have given the S the ST custom advanced picture controls! That function on the ST makes it a far more versatile display as you can select panel brightness and gamma curve to more adequately match your viewing environment! I get that the S is the cheaper model and I even get why they would skimp on features like the viera apps on the S to make the move to the ST more attractive... But why take away something as seemingly innocuous as the advanced picture controls?
