Portal 2 - Page 5

It is very simply the most finely crafted and most intereting game released in 2011 thus far. Spend more than 10 minutes on it before passing judgement.

It's very interesting but if you don't like it now you won't like it later.

Well, it is full of clever puzzles and brilliant writing. Whether you will find that interesting is impossible for anyone else to say.

I disagree with this. The way Valve structures games, the first levels and parts of games are more tutorials and teaching game mechanics than the actual game. They usually ratchet up the difficulty and interest after that and it becomes more enjoyable.

Also, the enjoyment will be diminished if you never played Portal 1. And if you never played Portal 1, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?

The difficulty never really ratchets up in Portal 2 (at least in the single player) but it's still the best game that I've played this year.
