I just spoke with Howard Rodgers, owner of RSLspeakers.com He said he would like to come to the subwoofer meet himself, but has other commitments for a conference coming up in early June. He continued that being a small company he didn't have the spare time himself to make such a trip with the conference planning and preparation under way. He did say if anybody planning on attending the event was interested in purchasing a RSL "Speedwoofer" and using it during the KC subwoofer event on May 14 - they should PM me, or him, and he could get one here for the comparison at no financial risk to the purchaser. He said he'd like to have his subwoofer represented in our event, but would prefer to have fair representation of the sub by it's new owner.
RSLSpeakers has a 100% guarantee on their Speedwoofer. You will like it or the company will refund your money back including return shipping. Howard suggested someone could use this guarantee and it would apply during the KC subwoofer demo. If after the comparison the owner felt the Speedwoofer didn't hold it's own -- then the purchaser could send it back for a full refund including return shipping cost. Howard was a gentleman on the phone, and RSL is a relatively small company so I don't want anyone to abuse this offer and purchase the sub with no honest intent to keep it, but if somebody attending is a fan of an advertised VERY musical sub - this might be a good opportunity to assure those claims at no risk.
