It's not the Lego Star Wars. It's some sort of crappy mini game spinoff. Also, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean runs great on my system, although I did install the patch for it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone thinking about the D2D sale.

I purchased TDU2 at $4 from Amazon, then rapidly learned that Steam achievements does not equal Steamworks. My Amazon key does not work in Steam. Damn it! Now I have a non-Steam game aside from Minecraft, and that is stupid.

Green Man Gaming takes 20% off sitewide via coupon code "ONLYO-NDIGI-TAL20". That's tied with our mention from three weeks ago as the best sitewide percent-off coupon we've seen from Green Man Gaming this year. Deal ends September 25.

Steam offers downloads of Company of Heroes Complete Pack for Windows for $9.99. That's $2 under our mention from three weeks ago, $40 off, and the lowest price we've seen for this 3-game bundle. (It's a current price low by $35.) It includes Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, and Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor.
Don't need the whole pack? Get them singly:
Company of Heroes for $1.99
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts for $3.99
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor for $3.99

Dave-I lift these deals from the net. I don't take credit for finding the sale; I am just passing the info along. Sorry for the confusion.

@Ferris-This is the link. It states the offer is for Lego Star Wars (shrug).

Today only, OnLive offers NBA 2K11 for $5. That's the lowest price we've ever seen for this title by $2. (We listed it for $7 in July via GamersGate.) It's also $12 less than the lowest price we could find for a retail-box copy of this title.
Of note, this version can only be played on the OnLive service.

Yeah, that's something called Lego Star Wars Space Runner. It's also made by "The Game Agency" and nit Traveler's Tales.

Looks to me that he's just copy/pasting from some blog or website.

Direct2Drive is having an EA Weekend Sale - up to 75% off select PC game titles. Free Digital Download and No Tax.
The Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack $9.95 (normally $39.95)
Medal of Honor $4.95 (normally $39.95)
FIFA Manager 11 $9.95 (normally $39.95)

Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam $3.75 (normally $14.99)
Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition $7.50 (normally $29.95)
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit $7.50 (normally $29.95)

http://www.direct2drive.com/promos/w..._source=EAWeek

Personally I gotta recommend Medal of Honor for only $4.95. The sound in this game with a decent home theater is awesome. Fun game to blow through for under 5 bucks especially if you have your pc hooked into your home theater.

Also I gotta recommend BBC2: Vietnam for so cheap even thought BF3 is right around the corner. Great game.

Here we go, Metro 2033 on sale for like 5 bucks. This is a no-brainer for 5 bucks. Its actually a very atmospheric and fun game to play, I enjoyed it. Plus it was nice seeing a game developed from the Russian perspective......very nice graphics with modern video cards and a fun shooter too....

I think I was one of the few that didn't like BC2 vietnam. IMO terrible map design, way to many choke points. Weapons were decent and vehicles were ok but I can't overlook the map design.

Totally agree, great game to play, especially if you have a good home theater set up.

Metro 2033 is one of the few games that drives my Tri-Crossfire 6950 setup to the max.
The thing about Metro is that I turned on and off features, and the difference in visuals is just not that much of a big deal (at least it wasn't to my eyes).....Tesselation in particular is an effect that seems to take a ton of horsepower, yet deliver almost no tangible benefits...."pouches look more full and round on armor"?? Thanks, I'll take the extra 20fps by leaving it off

BUT seriously, it is a fun game to play, really, I enjoyed it....I enjoyed the story too..its not a perfect game (I didn't realize there was an honor system like in fallout 3 until after I had compelted the game and read online about multiple endings)......and there are times when you need to go to the internet to figure out what to do next, but really there are some breath-taking scenes of architecture and atmosphere in the game. For $5 bucks its really not to be missed.

Metro 2033 is a great game that I've always said was underrated despite its good reviews. It is easily one of my favorite FPS games ever made, and its developer actually aims to please PC gamers in this day of the console takeover.

I am looking forward to its sequel.

From the web:

'Amazon offers preorders of downloads of Battlefield 3: Limited Edition for Windows for $41.99. That's $4 under our August mention and the lowest price we could find by $12. The limited edition includes the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack. It's expected to be released on October 25'.

I don't like shooters that focus on multi-player (unless there are bots), but I may jump on this if the single player is good.

I'm not paying the $42 because I'm only interested in the SP of that game as well, though it is a great deal.

They also have Assassin's Creed Revelations up for pre-order for $35, and 20% off Might and Magic: Heroes VI.

wow that is crazy that even pre-order games are coming out with such great deals! Great deals even on the consoles too these days. All the competition is great for us consumers! (duh)

By the way this is where I find a lot of the deals I post in this thread:

http://www.techbargains.com/catsearch.cfm/1_2_0

I have bought so much crap due to techbargains. Plasma tv's, pc monitors, remotes, receivers, speakers, video games, etc. Love that site.
