Rage is a fantastic "Episode One". Then there is this half-finished second area where they obviously wanted to make the second half of the game, but then ran out of time. Totally worth $10 for the first area of the game though. It does some interesting things, was a goddamn technical marvel in the 360 version that I played, and it just feels extremely good in the moment to moment gameplay.

I bought RAGE on sale awhile back. It is a pretty cool game, but it runs like ass on my 2.5 year old pc. I have the texture pop in problem, which is really annoying, and a framerate that is all over the place, but mostly low. And it crashes to desktop a little too often. I stopped playing and figure I will break this one out on my next PC I build for myself, so I could experience it in all of its glory lol.

It takes 25GB hard drive space (75GB temporary space to download and install)! Crazy!

I hated this game with a passion (PC). Souless, storyless experience. If your new to shooters, i'd say you might like it, but then i'd have to stop and recommend a dozen others first. Imagine if Doom 3 started in the room where hell first breaks loose, thats how much story is here IMO. The NPC's talk like they're addressing kindergarteners. On the PC to pan around the mouse is reversed and couldn't wrap my brain around it so i had to stop or stop steering to look around. Its pretty, but the textures are only nice from a distance, all of them, i don't think i've ever seen anything like it. Its a step backwards in PC gaming in my opinion. If you buy it make sure to follow the guide on Nvidia's geforce site to optimize it. They say you need a 1.5gb card for the 4k textures. Nope...you don't, my 1.3gb card handled it just fine at 60pfs all the way through.

If you raise the FOV, you might notice the default walk speed is actually a balls out sprint, which is incredibly un-immersive and counter-intuitive to our human experience. The walkspeed and many other cvars are locked out in the latest patch. If it were me, i'd wait because they are supposedly going to release a mod kit soon and the update may allow you to change the walkspeed and many other things.

It's actually a better deal than that. Buy one game @ $5 and get a $5 off code to any of the other 1C $5 sale games. So you end up getting two games for $5!

Yea suppose to be like five per season and follows a different group of survivors. I dunno if I'll pull the trigger yet. It's 22 for the entire set. Each episode taking about two hours. Certain things do entice me tho like each decision is rolled into the next episode. Decisions have to be made on the fly. And the original comic writer is involved too. He's writing and stories.

This thread is not for you to come into and tell how terrible a deal is. Post a frickin' link next time you find a better deal. That is what we do in this thread. Post links to deals, especially better ones. You think you found a better deal, then great. Get off your high horse and post a link.

Disciples II is free today on Green Man Gaming. I've never played it, but it's free! Plus you can trade it back in on Saturday for $3 credit toward any other game if you prefer (I think).

I bought the game when it was released. If you like the HOMM turn-based kind, you'll also like this game. I found it pretty hard(maybe I was too young) but it's free so
