Yeah it is sold out. I bet a lot of people jumped on the deal due to the new DX11 patch coming tomorrow.

D2Drive also has Dead Space ($9.95) and Dead Space 2 ($14.95) for 50% off:

http://www.direct2drive.com/Search.a...erm=dead+space

Also a huge 2K1 game sale with some great deals, like NBA 2K11 or Borderlands for $7.95! Check 'em out:

Wow, this looks like a pre-emptive strike by Direct2Drive before the summer Steam sale. There are a couple of games that are VERY tempting, but I'm holding out for $5 games on the upcoming Steam sale.

I did buy the Batman Arkham Asylum game for $5.99 from GamersGate. I recently had said that I was going to have a $5 limit, and it's slightly over that limit, but I felt it was close enough.. heh

Bioshock 1 + 2 are $4.99 each at GamersGate today.

Damn, so tempting, but I should really play Mass Effect 1 first. I tried playing Mass Effect 1 on the Xbox, but when I got to the first planetside Maako mission (the off-road vehicle thing), I got stuck, and I just couldn't get past that point. However, I'm thinking of trying to play that game again, except this time on Easy.

I no longer have the 360 version, but would rather play it again on PC.

Direct2drive is having a "31 days of deals" sale, but so far they are getting their ass kicked by Steam!

GamersGate has NBA 2K11 for $6.78. I had to snag it, considering all the amazing mods that are available for this game, and some huge, huge mods coming very soon to it.

Just go to Youtube and search for NBA 2K11 mods, you'll see what I'm talking about. The famous 1996/1997 season mod is coming to NBA 2K11 very soon. That one is going to be the shizznit.

This sale is only good for another 8 hours, so jump on it quick, although it might be coming to the Steam summer sale very soon.

Civilization V for $19.95 (60% off). This is actually a better deal than Steam had at 50% off:

Fallout 3: GOTY version is $9.99 at Direct2Drive, but it doesn't work with mods, so no go for me.

I have the game for 360 but these mods for PC damn. I watched some vids of 96/97 season mod..amazing how i know all the players from those years. I have lost touch with NBA so im lost to who is who. If they deeply discount this game for the Steam Summer sale, ill have to get it. I will suffer playin on my 22" lcd monitor if I can play with players I grew up watchin.

Greenmangaming.com is giving away Arma II, Men of War, and Tower Bloxx Deluxe this weekend. Use the codes THESU-NFREE-ARMA2, THESU-NFREE-MOFW2, and THESU-NFREE-BLOXX at checkout. (from http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...or-gratis.html) I've been able to get Arma II into my account, but haven't tried downloading, yet. Their site is hammered right now such that you're doing good to even get in and have a search show up. Hopefully sometime this weekend it will be operating in a better way.

Got all three Sunday morning. Their site was getting hammered all weekend. I should have some time to download and install tonight after work.

Also, Gamersgate has Assasin's Creed 2 for under $4 today. I'm at work, so I can't post the link. I'll probably buy it, despite the ubicrap drm. I heard that there is a working crack for it anyway.

i just picked up arma II, but i couldnt get their downloader app to work. hopefully it was because their site was being hammered.

MAN, that really, really sucks... Oh well..

It is annoying how I cannot add boxed copies of older, but popular EA games like Crysis and Crysis: Warhead to my Origin account. I re-bought these two particular games through Steam for $10 not too long ago, but EA could learn a thing or two from Valve about demonstrating good will towards its customers.

I contacted live support early this morning, and the representative quickly took care of the situation.

I read comments on EA's message board where everyone who tried registering their boxed copies of the first two Crysis games failed to do so even after contacting support, so it seems to be hit-or-miss and that EA is still working many things out with their Origin service.

Crysis 2 is my single most wanted PC game currently available. The amazing thing is, that $21 is still too much for my blood. I've grown accustomed to paying about $12 or less for EVERYTHING. It's so hard for me to even think about paying more than say... 18 bucks. I think if Crysis 2 was $18, I'd snag it. As huge as my backlog is, I'd have to fork over the $18.

I've got a ridiculous backlog at the moment, so no use in adding more games. The only reason to add a new game to my backlog is if the deal is just too good to pass up. For example, Assassin's Creed 2 recently sold for 4 bucks. When I found out about it, the deal was dead, but I would have bought it without hesitation, even though I have no intention of playing it right away. A deal like that is just a no-brainer, and you gotta grab it when it's there.

Many games for $5 are absolute no-brainers as well.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do when Skyrim comes out, because I'll be so freaking tempted to pay full pop for that baby, but I really should wait for a few patches to come along before even thinking about such an ambitious game.

I've played through Oblivion and Fallout 3 on the PC and regardless of bugs I will be there on day 1 to get Skyrim. I expect Bethesda's games to be buggy; I'm used to it by now. Their games are too awesome to wait on though.

Well I am not as money manageable as you! I picked it up. Graphics look really good, but does not run good on my AMD vid card. Need to see if there is a driver update...or maybe its time to upgrade.

AMD has driver issues with DX11 upgrade with Crysis 2. Get a GTX580 and it will run well up to 1920 x 1200.
