Direct2Drive (and other) game deals thread - Page 24

^^^ Ridiculous deal right there.......Dead Space 3 for $5.00, got the rest as gimmies (had a couple of them, not all). JUST REMEMBER TO READ UP on Dead Space 1 on the PC, you'll want to turn off VSync in game and then force a 60hz refresh rate in your drivers for that game in order for it to not be sluggish-as-all-hell control wise.....or..something like that. Goggle will answer all....

GMG has the Battlefield 2 Premium Pack expansion for $12 bucks......but I only know a few gamers on the 360 that still play it so....I'll wait for $9.99 or less, probably when BF4 hits shortly.
(and yes I know I'm quibbling over $2 bucks...it makes no sense to me either...its just a GUT FEELING of CHEAPNESS) biggrin.gif

Tempted to get all the DLC however just to futz around online with it.....

EA finally figured out how to get me to actually feel good about paying real money for Dead Space 3. Well played EA....well played.

Just a heads up, the Origin program is having issues redeeming codes right now. I had to use the Origin Account settings on the site to activate my Dead Space 3, so just FYI

Crazy good deal. I bought it for Dead Space 3 alone as I have all the other games, but hey, Newest Dead Space for less than $5 and extra copies of all those games? Yes Please!

Wow I think this is the greatest deal in gaming we've had so far! Thanks for the heads up, I did get it.

If anyone's interested, I have keys for BF3, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor and Mirror's Edge that I'm giving away. Although in the case of Medal of Honor, that might be more of a punishment than anything else. I hated that game. tongue.gif

Anyone can get these games by giving at least 1 cent....to charity. I'm not even using 75% of them, but I'd feel bad giving them away.

It's a minimum of $1 actually. And to get BF3 and Sims 3, you gotta pay about $5
post #698 of 820
Still only $5. lol

People should donate, but it feels wasteful just letting these keys sit there too...

A pal gave me Dead Space 3 key, stoked. Wish the service wasn't hammered.

Just use the Origin site

https://www.origin.com/account

Sign in and on the left is a redeem key link, activate there and it's added to your account. Had to do that with my DS3 key
post #701 of 820
It was hammered earlier but works fine for me now. I entered all my keys in Origin without any issues.
Thanks for that. Dead Space 3 for $1 was well worth it.smile.gif

Since GFWL is shutting down, will that break Dark Souls? That is going to annoy the **** right out of me. I'll have to get back in and finish my game.

I googled that for me. Yes it's going to die. What a crock of sh*t! I hope they patch it out. I hate to resort to some pirate crap to be able to play the game.

Arkham Origins Steam codes can be had on eBay for ~$25. People might want to jump on this before they all get snapped up.

All from folks buying new vid cards. I got my copy with my 780, already activated on Steam. Still haven't beat Asylum or City... lol

What are you waiting for? Those are two of the best games ever, and the PC versions are the definitive experience.

Oh i've started both, I just never got around to finishing them. When I started them I wasn't really in the mood to play them. Nor could my old comp really handle them well. My new one though... yeah, can handle them fine. I just haven't had the drive to play them yet.
I picked up the batman games for $5 and haven't touched them. I keep hearing how amazing they are but that little drive in me is not just firing off to play them. Maybe I will force myself to install and set out to play the first hour... I bet it will sink it's hook if I at least give it that chance.
