Trying to figure out the diff.......

LAPPGQBL46001234

LAPPGQBL48001234

LAPPGQBL49001234

Being that the last 4 digits probably mean number-in-sequence, and I don't see those middle zeros change much, I'm assuming it doesn't mean 600,000th, 800,00th and 900,000th group of sets, so maybe that number means a batch?? Or a certain month??

Just curious.

TIA if somebody knows.

It's the expiration date.

How many Vizio TV's have you looked at to even notice?
Just curious.

Well, I've looked at the 3 Costcos near me. (maybe a dozen boxes in all)

One costco has a higher price than the others and their stock would appear to be old. (they have the "6" batch)

Then the other 2 have a mix of 9's and one of the costcos (from which I took the very newest 9 number I could find) has nothing but 8's left. (somebody didn't rotate inventory......

If I have time this afternoon maybe I'll ask Vizio & if I find out, I'll post back here.

Newer doesn't always equate to better. Quite often an "updated" product is the result of expensive parts on the inside. I personally wouldn't worry too much about it.

Where are the "7" series?
Maybe they're at Walmart or Target.

I had a 2001 model Sony KP57HW40 crt rptv. That model and it's next model year successor became infamous for crt problems and Sony had to extend the warranty for certain defects, a fiasco comparable to the later SXRD rear projection sets.

Mine was an early production (1st month or so) with differently sourced crts (Panasonic vs Sony's own which appeared on the newer sets) and is going strong with it's 3d owner and has not required a single repair in 10 years.
