I am new to to this Plasma, LCD/LED thing so I can't really compare to any other Brands, however, it's wasn't a make or break for me in my upgrade.
I just can't credit the TV's Great PQ on the TBF in my opinion
I don't regret the upgrade due to overall features, especially the higher Contrast Ratio, which I feel was the make or break factor for me.

Thanks for the input. Currently I have the pv450 and glare and being washed out in the day is terrible. The panny st30 I had was great in this regard. Bummer that LG's filter is not that good.
