Light Dimmer Network with iRule Setup

I have been searching through the forums for a little bit and wanted to ask what lighting control system you guys are using? I have 3 Sets of lights i would like to control and possibly a fan. I was looking at Z-Wave Switches and a Leviton VRC0P to control them with the iRule. Am I looking at the right hardware? This is a new space for me.
